Born in Guatemala, Sebastián was diagnosed during adolescence with Autism Spectrum Disorder. At the age of seventeen, his mother recognized within him an innate artistic ability, becoming the catalyst for the self-taught development of a talent that would ultimately serve as an emotional bridge through which to project his inner world. Through each pigment and every gesture, he reveals who he is and how he perceives reality. The rich textures of his paintings—created through the use of oil, acrylic, pastel, and enamel—together with the phrases he incorporates into his works, express the thoughts and emotions inhabiting his mind during the creative process. Sebastián has cultivated a distinctive style marked by vibrant chromatic intensity and profound emotional depth.
Within his work converge themes of identity, spirituality, and the human condition, articulated through an aesthetic that merges the legacy of Expressionism with Cubist structures, capturing the essence of a personal journey unfolding between canvas and emotion.
